 Have you ever wondered what your child's preschool inspection report looked like? Would you like inside information to help you make a good choice in quality and safety? Well it is simple to access public records on line at www.jfs.ohio.gov.
On the ODJFS page , on the right side of the page please click childcare. On the next page located on the left hand side you will see a link for search childcare. Click on that link. You will now be able to search centers in your area based on zip code, ages of children served, etc. A list of local centers will pull up. You may click on each of the links and view inspection reports. As you navigate centers you will get a chance to see full reports that show any areas listed out of compliance O/C. You also have a the option to view corrections made for any out of compliance. Complaints are also listed as well. Any citation listed in red is a serious risk violation. Please read those carefully to understand what violation was cited as well as a corrective action plan.
